HAVERHILL, Mass.-October 8, 2003 - GlobalWare Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of supply-chain management, fulfillment, e-commerce and reverse logistics, today announced its expansion into China, acquiring Mainstream International, Ltd., a leading Asian supply chain management company. The acquisition gives GlobalWare a significant presence in the burgeoning Asia market, with facilities in Shenzhen, Wuxi and Shanghai, China; Hong Kong; Malaysia; and Singapore. Terms were not disclosed.

GlobalWare Solutions Chief Executive Officer Tony Rudston stated the acquisition was part of GlobalWare’s strategy to establish a presence in markets where the company’s customers anticipate the greatest opportunity for growth. "Our customers clearly see tremendous opportunity in China and in Asia," said Rudston, "and we are taking the strategic actions necessary to position ourselves globally to meet their needs in these rapidly growing markets."
