Global Content Management

GlobalWare Solutions’ Content Management program (GlobalContentTM) standardizes and converts static dysfunctional repositories of documents and text into a single dynamic content database. Client content is securely submitted to GlobalWare from digital libraries across our client’s enterprise. GlobalWare then validates, tags, catalogs, wraps, manages, and stores the information within DataShareTM, our state-of-the-art enterprise document management system. GlobalContentTM enables valuable information to be identified by multiple metadata elements and accessed from anywhere within the enterprise or via the Internet.

The Repository:

  • Separates content from application logic and presentation
  • Automates workflow, including content approval and expiration
  • Searchable by multiple metadata elements
  • Provides auto replication to remote servers for hot backup
  • Utilizes open standards (XML, SQL, ASP/JSP/PHP) for ease of integration and customization
  • Supports multiple languages
  • Increases the value of client content assets by enabling instant reuse to multiple distribution channels, including:
    • Web -Internet/Intranets, Business Partners, Customers
    • Print - Product Documentation, Training manuals, Product Specifications, Documents/Designs
    • E-mail - Notifications, updates

The database is easily accessed through GlobalWare’s web site application DataShare. By gaining access to this previously unavailable information, internal users, customers, and GlobalWare can dynamically search, review, and retrieve concise information and/or products. Along with search capabilities, customers and internal users have the ability to place orders on-line (TotalWare.com web store) for any item in the database, configure the information in multiple ways (print, CD-ROM, electronic download), and have any of GlobalWare Solutions four world-wide production facilities produce the physical product on-demand and ship it within 48 hours.
