    Redwood City, CA – February 25, 2008 – GlobalWare Solutions, the only provider of global end-to-end ecommerce and supply chain solutions that fully encompass both digital and physical fulfillment operations, announced today that industry veteran Pieter Versteeg has been promoted to General Manager of the company’s Amsterdam facility with overall responsibilities for the company’s European operations.

    Mr. Versteeg joined GlobalWare in 2006 as Vice President of Sales. In his new position, he will apply more than 15 years of experience in management and business development, as well as his strong record of success in strengthening international operations, to growing the company’s European operations. He also joins the company’s Executive Committee, reporting directly to David I. Beatson, CEO of GlobalWare.

    GlobalWare also elevated the roles of its other regional general managers, giving them more direct strategic and operational responsibility and appointing them to the company’s Executive Committee. The other general managers are: Ramadas Naidu, Asia Region; Thomas Condardo, US Eastern Region; and William Moreland, US Western Region.

    The promotion of Mr. Versteeg and the increase in responsibilities of the other general managers are moves designed to increase local efficiency, speed decision making and accelerate operations. Prior to joining GlobalWare, Mr. Versteeg was Managing Director, Europe, at Centrix Inc., where he was responsible for the strategic direction, growth, distribution, logistics and financial performance of the leading medical devices company. Previously, he played a pivotal role in establishing the European operations of Wise Solutions Inc., a leading provider of software tools for online installation of applications; it is now a subsidiary of Symantec.

    Prior to his positions with Centrix and Wise Solutions, Mr. Versteeg was the President and CEO of Waspo BV and VP EMEA at Identikey (Europe) BV. Before that, Mr. Versteeg co-founded Spaapen & Versteeg, an investment consultancy specialized in developing and implementing corporate business strategies and management solutions for the Chinese market. Mr. Versteeg has devoted particular attention to addressing the unique challenges associated with global growth strategies.
