GWS is currently searching for a self motivated, detailed oriented individual that possess a strong background in Network Administration that is located within our Haverhill facility. This Network Administrator must have a strong knowledge of server deployment, network engineering, security and ensuring network connectivity throughout the company’s global infrastructure. Our corporate office is located in Haverhill and we also have our Redwood City California facility along with offices in the Netherlands and Singapore.

This position provides day-to-day troubleshooting and maintenance of the organization’s LAN/WAN, Firewalls, DMZ and network load balancers. This person must possess a strong knowledge ability to maintain and troubleshoot any networking issues with Windows Servers, MS Exchange, Ubuntu and our web servers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To provide support of our global infrastructure that consists of Windows Servers 2003/2008, Ubuntu and web servers.
2. Troubleshooting and performing maintenance of the organization’s LAN/WAN, Firewalls, routers, switches, DMZ, along with our networks load balancers.
3. Primary support and continued growth of our virtual environment, load balancers, web servers and Ubuntu servers.
4. Responsible for supporting multiple sites in multiple time zones and some off hours support in required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Highly motivated, self directed, detail oriented person and a true team player. In addition this person must possess the following:

• BS in Computer Science/Information Systems is preferred
• 5+ years experience as a Network Administrator or similar position preferred
• Superior skill level in Ubuntu and web servers is a must
• A solid working knowledge in Firewalls, routers, switches, VMware virtual switching environments (ESX Enterprise)
• Technically proficient with Microsoft Server 2003 and higher, Exchange, Active Directory and policy enforcement
• Proven experience in the areas of network analysis, trouble shooting, network security and disaster recovery planning
• A strong working knowledge of configuring load balancers.
• Familiar with SAS security audits
• Strong working knowledge of storage systems, storage management and data center engineering experience
• Experience supporting multiple sites in multiple time zones
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment
• This position may require some travel on an as needed basis
